After seeing Steve Clark on the Footy Show last night, I would have a suggestion that they make the referees jerseys available for purchase to the public, lets say 10,000 of them. From the sales, lets say 20% of the profit is donated to the national *** cancer foundation. Seeing as though it is the world cup, I think this could potentially be a viable option.

I think with that type of cause attached it would definitely work especially with the female demographic.

I have passed it on to the powers that be and will let you know the outcome.

As far as i know they wont be available for sale.

 
With regards to charity i believe that after each game both captains will sign the referee's jersey and it will be auctioned off. ( I believe the proceeds will go to breast cancer research)

Thats a shame they wont be on sale, I think refs cop a raw end of the deal sometimes, and some of their merchandise should be on sale too... some of the Ref jerseys look awesome and would be great to have along side the RL jersey collection. I think in general even in the NRL they should have them on sale, that way its also a bit more revenue for them or at least can do the charity thing as well.
